Teams move around a series of practical fun activities having fun while they improve their team work skills. In Don’t Spill teams are given a simple sounding task of moving a wine glass full of water across the room. However, they cannot touch it with their hands and they will be provided with limited materials with which to do it. Precision Pyramid is a precision object manipulation device is used as a challenging action learning tool. It requires minimal physical activity and can be used indoor as well as outdoor. Leonardo's Bridge is a challenge where teams are tasked with building a self supported bridge out of a collection of planks of wood. No nails or fixing devices can be used and all team members must be able to cross the bridge safely. The bridge must cross the imaginary gorge. A truly mind blowing challenge! Full Tilt is a team exercise that tests your dexterity as well as mental agility. Strong teamwork and co-operation is essential. Each of the activities will have the groups laughing and enjoying themselves and walking home with some great key learnings.


Learning Outcomes

A practical exercise in verbal communication, which demonstrates effectively the enormous and fascinating variety of strategies which individuals use to make sense of their worlds. It explores how perceptions are presented, how meaning comes to be shared between individuals and groups and how organisational strategies are developed to account for the wide range of individual thinking and learning styles. Each of the activities focuses on different team skills in a fun, memorable and engaging way. For example,Shape Shifter is a practical exercise in verbal communication, which demonstrates effectively the enormous and fascinating variety of strategies which individuals use to make sense of their worlds. It explores how perceptions are presented, how meaning comes to be shared between individuals and groups and how organisational strategies are developed to account for the wide range of individual thinking and learning styles. Magic Carpet literally puts people into a problem that can only be solved with logical planning and team co-operation. Very often teams cannot see the solution when they are immersed in a problem and stepping outside and working through step by step is essential – both in Magic Carpet and in business. This challenge also tests listening skills, co-operation and adaptability.
